The annual Fatboys 10s is in its 17th year in 2020, based at Challenger Field in Clark Air Force Base, Pampanga, Philippines. This year will see a total of 18 teams from all over the world take part over this one-day event. However, there is a lot more to this tournament…

Friday 4th September: Compulsory Weigh In/Pre-event social - Envy Bar, Fields Avenue, Clark

This event takes place from 8-pm at the ever-popular Envy Bar. All teams are weighed to comply with the rules in the event of a draw during the tournament, which results in the dreaded run off!

Fancy dress is actively encouraged along with some light refreshments!

Saturday 5th September: Tournament - Challenger Field, Clark AFB

Starting at 9 am sharp the day is full of action-packed 10s rugby. We also invite 150 local children from the various homes and orphanages in Pampanga for lunch and a new Piggies shirt. On-site refreshments are provided by Envy Bar, free water is courtesy of the RSL and physio massages are carried out by qualified masseurs. All trophies are given out after each respective final allowing the local teams to travel home on the same day.

At lunchtime, for the second year running, we have the all-female State of Origin game between Mindanao and Visayas. Hotly contested last year this is a great showcase of women’s rugby in the Philippines.

SAturday 5th September: Tournament After-party - Envy Bar, Fields Avenue

After a chance to freshen up, it’s off to the after-party for a night of banter, special awards, raffles and auctions. Envy Bar very kindly reserve the bar for us and we put on some house drinks and food for you. This event is ticketed and you must have your wristband to enter.
